super m starter switch location??

hello, my super m was missing a starter, i bought one and the switch mounts to the front of the nose cone, is this correct or should the switch bolr to the back end of the starter? it is a 3 bolt style..live hyd, and a switch mounted to the starter. thanks...

Correct starter should have a switch with lever
mounted on it with 2 screws, and a rod running
back to bracket on left side of hydraulic reservor
to engage switch.

most of the new ones are that way. the wires from the switch and to the coil will be turned around is all
