Looking at a 1990 Ford with 7.3 diesel, was running good when it ran out of fuel owner has not been able to start it since. He bleed lines and thinks it's getting fuel. He has it priced cheap as is ,any ideal what could be wrong.
thanks

"Thinks it's getting fuel?"

Loosen at least half the lines at the injectors and crank it over to see if it's REALLY getting fuel. (As you probably know, keep fingers and other skin away.)

Once you have fuel, check the glow plugs. May be a bad relay, or all 8 may be burned out from battery boosting/excessive cranking while trying to get fuel system bled after running out of fuel.
