That gray one setting to the right would be the one. The people that i talk to to that have one won,t go back to to red or green. Don,t know just what i hear people say.

Wifes dad likes those grey ones. We rented one years ago to run a forage harvestor, dealer put 3 PTO clutches in it in two weeks. Good power just could't use it all through the PTO.
Give me Red or Green, over 100 HP.

Saw one of these sell at an auction last fall in Colorado Springs for under $4000. It had a cracked exhaust manifold, but ran great. I am kicking myself for not buying it, but I didn't need any thing that big for doing hay. But since when did "need" have anything to do with it?

Hi John,

Rusty's picture is of a 1468. The 1568s came out in '76, I think.

I never could figure out what a feller would use 'em for.

Allan

20 bottom rollover :)

Heck, if it's so flat, might as well go wide!

Okay, You Guys,

The thing is, I'm "old tractor poor" now.

I'd like to buy this 1466 but can't even afford a decent muffler for it. :>)

MINEMINEMINEMINEMINEMINEMINEMINE!!!

I once told of the boys that washed their fathers new one by runing dishwasher soap and a garden hose down the stacks.

When I get rich I want one of those.

I know exactly what you mean. My funds are definately in short order right now. Probably a good thing though, I realized just awhile ago that the 6 tractors I own were accumulated in just under 6 years, actuall less than 6 years because I haven't added any in the last year and a half. Besides that, the shed is full.

At least you have an income, I lost my job 2 years ago because I could no longer do the hard physical work that was required, since I wasn't actually injured or anything I don't qualify for disability, the company I worked for refused to pay any kind of un-employment, and the only jobs available around here pay so little that it would cost more for me to get to the job than I would earn. Not complaining, and didn't mean to rant. Someday I will find that golden goose.

rusty, the golden goose is nearer than you think. My dad was telling me that when he was a boy he went to sell his hard earned fur pelts to an older man. I guess dads eyes got kinda big when he pulled out a big roll of bills to pay off. the man told dad, "There ain't no sense bein' poor in America"

I can understand where your comeing from. It took me 5 years to get any money from the Gov. after my doctors said I could no longer work. Sort of hard to find a job when 35lbs is all you can lift and you can't walk far or stand for hours. At least tracotrs are easy to work on and I do enjoy playing with them.

sounds like your like me, i caught punemonia and whooping caugh at the same time last year, and just never recovered, i can lift, but not do anything with it, and i can walk around my kw before i cant breath for awhile, i can still drive most anything and my brain works good to, just cant figure out how to make money with it, id sell myself on the corner, but any woman who thought i looked doable would look scarrier than me,and thats a mind boggeling thought! ericlb
