I am helping a friend get an old loader tractor he has going again. It has not serial number plate that I can find, but it has the following stamped into the side of the engine block on the Right side as you sit in the seat. BD154 and below that 38078. I would assume that is the engine model and serial number. On the same side of the transmission case are the numbers 3064161 RI.

Can anyone help me ID this tractor? I am going to need to get some injectors and glow plugs for it. Thanks in advance!

Chris

Hi, BD154 is British build Diesel, found in B414,434,444,384 and some industrial models which I am not sure of the number but believe they were like 2400A,3414,3444.

Good luck

Suspect it is a B414 since the low serial number fits with B414 production figures.

Ok thank you both for the information. Where would I find the serial number for the tractor?

The SN and model should be on a plate on the right side of the clutch housing. Probably a 2444, does it have a 2050 loader ?

I am not sure of the loader model. It has been re-decaled by another company putting their name on it. Some Canadian Hydraulic outfit. I will look closer next time I get the chance. Thanks for the info on the Serial number plate!
