I bought this Saturday from a man who assured me it was for an H. Is it? If not, can it be made to fit? If it is for an H, how does it mount up?
Thanks in advance...Kevin

Hi Kevin, I think they refer to that as a disc
plow. Do not see any around here in MD. Hal

Kevin, an HM150 has brackets just like your drawbar brackets on the H except they are either inside our outside the drawbar brackets then the plow had a v shaped tongue that hooks to a drawbar bolted to the clutch housing they hook togather with a clevis. Please believe me I have spent many hrs. in front of both plows on an H and Super A.

If I sounded like I doubted you, I apologise. The pictures you referenced me to just confused me(not hard to do). Thanks for all your help. I now know what I have, it's just not what it was supposed to be. Oh well, I'll keep looking. Kevin

Kevin, no apology needed if you could find an HM 150 you could pull a 3 disc in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd., a M will pull it in 3rd. I don"t have a way to post pictures or I would take one of an HM150 and post it. I don"t know where you are at, but a Lady died in my neighborhood recenly and I suspect they are going to have a sale soon, just guessing. If they still have it they had a HM150 with only 2 disc on it. This is it southwest mo 20 min from Springfield.

I'm in upstate South Carolina, sandwiched inbetween Northeast Georgia and the North Carolina Mountains. I should be able to find one around here. I think there was one H or either one Cub shipped here for every man, woman, and child. The tractors are everywhere, the implements on the other hand, are a little harder to find.

Probably for an C or an A. The H/M 150, I believe is the number used on both the H and M. I used a 3 disk one on an H for several years, it was a much heavier plow. Techically the one in your picture is not a tiller, it is indeed a plow. It does the same thing as a moldboard, and is used mostly (not entirely) in the south. Some of the pieces appear to be missing. The H/M version pulls from underneath the tractor, the supporting parts bolt to the axle housings. The rod in front hooks to the front end and is used to steer the rear wheel on the plow. In other words that is a semi-mount as you don't raise the rear wheel off the ground. I suppose it could be made to mount on an H, it would take a lot of work. If you found that one there are probably H/M ones in your area -- ask around.

Thanks for the info...I posted on the implement alley board as well and got about the same answer at just about the same time! I found a diagram of the a151 in the photos but something just doesn't look the same(...scratching head...)
Oh, well I'll figure something out.Kevin
