A friend of mine has an old F-12 and he would like to know where the serial number is located ?

Early serial plates were riveted to the hood rather than on the tank support -- not a good place to keep them from getting lost.

It's on a plate riveted to the back (nearest the operator platform) side of the front gas tank support, right behind the engine.

I think it is stamped on the frame rails ands on the engine too like an F-20

I know its on the engine,below the fuelpump,not sure if it was on the frame rail.
