Thanks for all your recent help/advice on my balky Hough payloader with it's D236 engine. I'll be trying all your helpful advice in the near future.

I haven't got to it yet cuz I've been busting butt trying to get the tractor shed done. I haven't got all the siding on yet, but with this cold rain, I pulled all the tractors under the roof yesterday. With a little imagination, You could almost hear these old girls shake the water off and sigh in contentment.

I know the 544 usta be shedded occasionally; I don't know about the Oliver 66, but the Farmall 450 and the IH 350U have most likely NEVER spent the night under a roof. (At least they looked confused about not being able to see the stars last night) For almost a half century, they've endured and shrugged off whatever Ma Nature had to offer. Now they can rest in dry quarters after a hard day's work.

Forgive my ramblings - I'm tickled to get this project mostly done. Tomorrow I'll get back to normal, finish the siding and start working on that Hough

I received your email notification, but I couldn't find anything posted, Hal Have a nice Thanksgiving. I have a toll free number if you need it on that rebuild kit.

If you have a problem finding that rebuild kit
for your injector pump try sales@dhdiesel.com.
They will need the model number from the pump.

Subjecting these old tractors to the weather is
worse for them than using them. My late dad was
always yelling to put the farm equipment in the machine sheds. Good Luck on that pole barn, Hal

PS: I guess that's why I keep everything sheltered, except for wheelbarrow. Never seem to have room for it.

I gave you an incorrect email, it should be sales@jhdiesel.com. Hal

Only people who are concerned about the tractors' feelings can truly enjoy providing them with a retirement home.

They are like other living things, they prosper when among their friends. A single tractor is a lonely thing.

Zen and the art of antique tractor preservation? Ah...the poetry on this board!
