Im thinking about selling my U4 engine at a consinment auction. Its not runing but is loose and H4 mag has spark. No visible cracks in block or head and manifold is real good. Missing gen, starter and clutch. Should I leave engine in one unit or disassemble and auction off all the seperate parts. Appreciate everybodys two cents.

Where do you live? If you are not too far away I may be interested in the complete package. Which head does it have? the high compression gasoline head could be worth quite a bit, Not much demand for the distillate head, so if the head is the distillate head, leave it on the engine, and sell it as a unit. If it is the gasoline head, separate them. I think the engine block will be worth more with the pistons, crank and rods all as a unit.
