NY and no its not the city either. Even though oh dont get me started on that one. Theres probly better critters there than here. I am sorry Allen I know that with age and wisdom we have thicker skins and can take alot more. I just could not help my self. Time to head for the hills. I wanted to ad one thing when I said feed the deer I meant all the crops I grow for them . If it wasnt for the critters the H,SM, and Cub would not leave the barn. There is nothing else for them to do. JON

There's at least a dozen deer here in the back and front yard every day. Near tame, the neighbor feeds them which I think is not a good idea. Last year a fawn was born right in the middle of the back lawn. The fawns are cool, they race and frolic around while the more mature oldsters just eat grass and keep watch. Two or three small bucks. Had a 10 point buck cruise thru last fall. Don't see many of those. Basically the deer own this place and I just rent.

ya gene you know what i'm talkin about, when the corn starts comin out of the fields so do the deer and in herds.and around here you definately don't want to be out driving at nite,at least if you care about what your drivin, cuz it will come back needing major frontend work.well magman you have fun anyway,ya you just can't beat being out in the great outdoors.somedays i can be outside my house in the woods and heard absolutely nothing, its so relaxing

Second that notion. West central Iowa. My daughter has had three collisions with deer in the past three years - totaled out two vehicles. My son in-law has a different problem. Deer keep running out of the ditch into the side of his van. Twice in the past couple of years.

Deer hunting is a great sport - doesn't matter what type of weapon you get them with.

Alls I can think of now is the Jeff Foxworthy Vidio. We like steaks up North here not bruised burger.LOL And to Lee I feed the mamas and babys And love to watch them run around the property like you said . I am in the enjoy Nature stage where I like to spend as much time as possible in the woods enjoying it and dont care to much if I even see a Buck. But I tell you what if I do and hes a big un he will be holding up the sheet rock on the wall before spring. JON
