I've managed to disassemble the clutch on my '51 M. Can someone tell me how the release bearing separates from the sleeve? Is it pressed in, or should it just slide off and the new one slide on?

The bearing is just pressed in. When I had my clutch rebuilt, I just took the sleeve with me to the rebuilder. He had a new bearing in stock and pressed it in for me. Likely there is a Clutch/brake shop that does relining work not too far from you. Take a look in the phone book.
