For some strange reason, I cant seam to get the mower deck down. I used it for several hours, then when I parked it in my barn and I pushed the deck lever down, the deck stayed up. I need help bad, could anyone tell me what the problem could be? or maybe even help me fix the damn thing?

Thanks

Check that the Draft Control Level has not been moved to the light draft position. This happend on our 684 with the mower on it about a mouth ago. I was just going to unhook the mower and it would not going down when the lever for the 3 point hitch was pushed to the lowering position.

This had be stumped for about 20 minutes till I noticed the drarf lever had been moved to light position , when it is usually always left in the heavy position. The draft control lever is right next to the 3 point hitch lift lever.

Good Luck and Make sure all Fingers and Toes are clear and free from danger. Have A safe harvest. Chris B.

After I get the mower unhooked. My older brother Mike comes along and asks, What"s the Problem. Why"s it taking so long. So I explain what happend. He sayes you must be two people, One person cant be that Dumb. I say to him you should have been here sonner and helped out with this. He finally admits He'd still be figuring out what was wrong. My Older brothers are always giving me a ribing. But I"m always glad there around.
