I just stared usein the B I got to haul a trialer of firewood and it started makein noise, that sounds like a lose chain or gear.Is there an adjustment in it or is it goin to be a tear down repair? thankyou Mud Hudson

Their should be an oil fill plug for the final drive. It is the square plug (female) just above the sheetmetal pan. You should be able to feel fluid with your little finger. I use 80w/90 in mine. Probably should be changed if your going to use it hard and it's more than 10 years old. Dave.

You might want to check the and see if the rim is loose. On my A or B I have run into this a couple of times.

I'll go along with the loose wheel noise theory. I knew/know nothing about Farmalls when got a '46 A from my Father-in-law. It had a decided clunk every so often from left wheel. Turned out to have very loose bolts/nuts. {Also had tire tread facing the wrong direction, but that's another story}. HOpe it's something as simple on yours.

Shaggy is right, first check that everything on the wheel is tight. I've seen things come loose there too.
If everything is tight, you may have a noisy bearing in the final drive.
