Last evening, tried to find a Motel in Lebanon, TN for the 2005 RPRU. It's July 21, 22, 23, 2005. Most motels in Lebanon are already booked up and those that aren't have jacked up their rates to $100 or more a night. I ended up about 20 miles to the east of Lebanon. Rates in Nashville are not any better.

Check the super 8. About 3 weeks ago their rooms were running $55 for 2 people.

When I was there for the last RPR, I stopped at a motel to see if any rooms were available.
Some guy was very upset that they had rented his room out.
He had booked it 10 months ahead and verified it 3 times, the last time just one week befor.

I went across the street and got a room. They had plenty.

In 1996, we stayed in Nashville. No rooms in Lebanon, but we only booked that about a month ahead, not 11 months.
