Found a broken rotor gear on mag.Replaced it & it still won`t start.Could it be out of time?If so,how do I time it?Put in new points.Have a new condenser,but don`t know how to install it.
Don`t have a book on it.Thank`s for any help,Shank.

Yes you have to time the gear Inside you will have a R and L on your rotor gear The gear inside that it meches with has a little tooth that is filled more than the others put it in between the R on the gear. JON
