Well I went to see the 240 so called cub and Its an F cub Good rear rubber fronts shot. He says it has not ran in 4 years. But just before that he had a new head,Pistons and rings installed, He said it ran rough thought it needed a tune up or carb. so its been setting in a garage every since. I tryed turning it over by hand at the fan but could not. It has a Land plow, Snow plow,Buz saw, cultivators, with it He says he wants a grande for it all. The extras have been sitting in hedge rows for some time by the looks of it. well guys I know Hs and Ms but not these little beasts Is it worth it? I take it the F in F cub stands for Farmall.Give me some oppions please. JON

If you don't want it, let the rest of us know where it is :-) The attachments are worth nearly as much as the price.

$1,000 for a Cub would be cheap in my area. I would be concerned about the fact that you couldn't turn the engine, because there is no way to assess it's condition that way.
Cubs in decent shape around here go for $1800 - $2500 with no attachments.
One way to look at it is you can put another $1,000 into it, if need be, and still have it for average price.
