Fellow tractor enthusists,

I recently purchased an old farm and discovered a 1950s? W6 tractor sitting there. The tractor appears to have most of the parts still there. The generator is missing and the head was in the grass but for the most part, everything else appears to be there.. It seems to have a modern style loader with a bucket.

I would like to sell this. Any idea what kind of value an old, perhaps restorable tractor with a nice loader might be worth?

Thanks
Norm

Doesn't sound like there's any demand for these old W6 tractors ??

W6's are sort of a limited to drawbar implements. It's tough to put a 3 point on them, and most don't have hydraulics. I own 3, and like them for plowing and discing. W6's are a very comfortable tractor to drive. Mostly designed for tillage on large fields.

Thanks for your reply Dave...
I agree with what you said about it's usefulness... I suppose I will end up taking the loader off and see if I can sell that item as dealers and others seem to think that a used manufactured loader will fetch 2000. The tractor I'll advertise as either a parts tractor or as a restoration project.. Norm
