I just wanted to share someting with you guys. Last night was our prom and I took my 350 that I restored. No, I wasn't alone, I found a girl willing to ride on the buddy seat right behind me. I don't think there is too many of them out there that would do this all dressed up. I thought this was great. It was a little breezy and about 54 degrees here but we only rode it about 3/4 mile. If anybody wants to see pictures of this let me know and give me some directions on how to post them.

I think my date would have killed me if I picked her up with my B. Around here, you have to have a truck to go to prom, so I spent a day cleaning mine. I think the B would be to slow, I had to drive about 30 miles. Hope all three of you had fun.

WOW!

I realize if you are going to the prom, you are a "youngster". But still, getting a girl to ride to the prom on a tractor, with you or anyone seems to make her special.....keep your eye on her, she may worth keeping..... ...

Ya, that is kinda funny, we just had our prom on Saturday, and my friend took a MX 180 Case IH, really got alot of attention, but the funniest thing was watching the guy try to figure out how to drive it when he had to park it. He went through all the gears in about 15 seconds he had went from 1st to 15th, boy was the black smoke pourin! LOL

We have a guy that goes to our church and when him and his wife got married they took the brand new "green" tractor as they rode off after they were married. Looked kinda funny seeing a tractor all decorated. Instaid of cans tired behind the took chain and a couple 55 gallon drums and put them behind.

Adam, You sure know how to hedge a bet, don't you? If the girl hadn't worked out, you always had the tractor. Just curious, did you pin the coursage' on the girl or the tractor?

I would very much like to see the photos. E-mail me; lflemming@charter.net. I will walk you through posting photos, or send them to me, and I will post them for you. Reminds me of several things. Didn't take my prom date, but used dad's 8N and wagon to haul a lot of wood for our homecoming bon-fire (when that was still allowed). That was back in 1965. Also have an interesting story when I was driving truck OTR. E-mail me.
