Farmall M Front End Wide to Narrow

I'm changing my M's front end from a wide to narrow. I know most people go the other way but I like the narrow front end better. Plus my wide front is kind of loose and slopy. I got a narrow front end for it and I'm going to just reuse my wheels and tires. I'm hoping that will work. Is there anything else I will need to do or get. I'm hoping my bolster is in good shape since there was no weight on it.

Richard, when I went the other way -narrow to old style WFE (tie bars out front)- I found the spindles on the WFE were much smaller than the narrow. Had to use H or 300 wheels on the WFE. You might check before you get it immobilized. My nickel Dick Davis

Thanks for the info, Dick. I was thinking I should look to see if the wheels actually fit before I start pulling it apart. Now I know for sure. Was your wide front farmall or after market? I think mine is a farmall original.

Mine is an old style IHC with the tie rods out front, about 1954 IHC moved the tie rods behind the axle and destroyed their beauty! LOL Dick Dvis
