I have a diesel leak around the throtle shaft on my 450 injector pump. Tractor runs fine, just need to stop leak before painting. Is diesel susposed to be in that area of the pump. Is there an easy fix and can it be done without removing pump? Thanks

No diesel is suppose to be in that part of the pump. Most likely the washers under the big nut on top are leaking down through the pump. You can replace them with o-rings. You should drain the pump crankcase and put 10-30w oil in.
