Starting 606 deisel

Ready to start 606 deisel. Can't get fuel through the pump and to the injectors. Suspect that system needs bled. What is the procedure for this ? Any other hints and suggestions appriciated

Johann If you have a head of fuel in the tank you should get go flow at the pump let the return line to the tank loose until you have fuel running out then with in lines to the injectors loose crank the engine untill you have fuel at the injectors. tighten injector lines and crank till you have smoke then hear up the glow plugs and it should start. One thing to remember if the delievery valve is not working on that pump it will never start or run If you had the pump rebuilt by a desiel shop I am sure it is working if not it may not have been checked. If you rebuilt this engine and fuel system it should not be hard to start. There was a post just the other day about this engine and I don't agree about them being hard to start if this engine is hard to star then a 350D should have never run. My 3 or 4 cents.
