I just installed a 9" rebuilt clutch kit and the throw out bearing that came with the kit was a standard automotive type bearing which does not fit on the spline shaft. The original bearing is a type of black bake lite (not is very good condition) that is inserted into a casting with two grease fittings. What do I do here guys??
Thank you

Tom

You can reuse the original bearing. If you use the new ball bearing that came with your kit, you will also need a new clutch release bearing holder to install it. The new bearing holder will replace the casting that holds the old style bearing.
