I finally got all my manuals(service, tune-up and operators) for my Super A, I bought them from my local IH Dealership( $85 CDN) Very pleased with them except for one thing. I have a Carter carb on mine but the manual does have any info on them. It has Marval, and Zenith and show all the components and how to work on them but I need information on a Carter. Where would I get this information. Does anyone out there have an exploded view of one that they could put on this sight. I plan to get a parts manual sometime but I sure would like to tune my carb now.I am looking for information on the jets, floats and settings for the carb. Thanks for advance.

I have the parts manual and I'm pretty sure that it has the exploded view of the Carter carb in it. I can check when I get home. Hope this helps. SAm in NS

I have just looked in my parts manual and it has exploded diagrams for both of the Carter carbs as well as parts listings. I don't have a scanner at home so I don't know when you wanted them by but given a day or so I could scan them. Hope this helps. SAm in NS

Paul:

If you got to the manual server at the link below, you will see that there is a section on the Super A and the AV. I have the TC-39B Parts Manual there and it includes the Carter Carb on Page 38 (schematic) thru to Page 41(parts list) of the manual.

I sure hope this helps you out a bit!

Lewis:

Thanks, just glad to be of help. As you can tell the server is primarily for Cubaholics like me, but many of us also have/want to have another tractor such as an A, SA or bigger.

Me, I am happy with my Cubs.

Glad the info was useful, and thank you for the kind words.
