Are you guys asleep? $300 to $500. In my area a mid 40's gas M in that same shape would bring that at any of the local consignment sales. Put it on e-bay and see if it brings $500.

Darren, What the boys say is very true. But, they aren't making any more MDTA's. And if you adopt this one, you will own a rare and desirable piece of agrculturial history, not to mention one fine working machine. This tractor will promise an expensive and demanding rebuild/resotration, but I wager it's value will meet and beat your investment in short order. I understand that the SMTA's are appreciating at a stiff clip now. If so, then (your) MDTA is an object of envy and desire for the ages. Think about it, in 50 years your progeny can negotiate with the Smithsonian Institution to display it in all it's 100 year old glory. Buy the tractor and enjoy taking your time to restore it!
Have fun, Jared

I agree that in the present condition it's only worth scrap price, but these tractors are rare. If you are going to pass it up, maybe someone else would be interested.

Engine is stuck -- These tractors are worth a lot when restored, but you are still going to put more into it than you will ever get. Better forget it. What's it worth now -- $300. Restored, -- $7500-$10000.
