I took the rear apart on my H and one of the inner axel bearings dropped a ball and it must have gone through the bull gears. The smaller bull pinion gear has 3 three teeth with chips out of them (about the same size as the axel ball bearings). Would it be ok to smooth out the chipped areas with a die grinder or should I find a replacement?

Whatever you decide to do, make sure you get ALL the little balls accounted for, and don't leave any in the bottom of the case to get between the bull gear and the lower part of the housing later.

likely will run a long time but might have a little noise, just depends how perfect you want it, or what to see you can get by with.
