My W6 has nothing but a rusty pan. I've located several sources for a seat . I'm however not sure what a correct color for that year would be ( black, silver ,red/white, red). I've seen several at shows, they all had different colors. For that year could you get different colors? I've heard they were Canvas. Want to purchase one , Dont want to make a unsightly mistake.

Thanks ED

Thanks
Ed

Silver didbn't show up until later than yuor tractor. Gray/Black would be correct.

Memory problems, but I could swear that my dad's 1947 H had a silver seat -- don't know for sure, because it (the seat) was worn out when I began to drive about 3 years later. The canvas was not durable at all.

The correct cover for the seat is silver canvas, but I would go with silver vinyl because it is more durable and washable. I have both. Some of the earlier seats were a darker color, black or charcoal. The red/white combination is something someone invented and was never an OEM item.

Thanks for the reply. Somehow I thought the silver was probally correct.
