I've gone in and cleaned the pressure plate/bearings. I still need new disks. No luck finding anyone to reline. Is their a supplier besides IH that carries these refurbished? Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry Dwayne, but I have found no cheaper place than my IH dealer for my disk brakes. If I find them in other places they are either the same price, more expensive, or a little less but with S+H it would cost me more. I looked around for 3 months before I committed, but I have been treated very fairly by my dealer (then again being the third generation doing business with them helps), so I am rather faithful to my dealer. However, I still buy all of my parts at the lowest located price, even if it is competing IH dealers. Good luck, but I think for the time and stress invloved, it is easier swallowing 4 bucks at the IH dealer and just buy them.

Tim -- Good comments and advice. I shop and try to save a buck when I can. But sometimes the little saved doesn't pay. I ordered from IH this week.

As has been posted before, do not discount your IH dealer. Supporting the dealer assures availability of parts for the future. My IH dealer is very competitive with disk brake parts.

Your viewpoint is appreciated. But paying inflated prices to justify their existence is not good business for them or me.

Try Steel Wheel Ranch or Bates Corp -- many other vendors.
