as i posted earlier, my super C buzzes when i turn the key (i use a battery charger on run because my battery is dead)the lights come o there is a buzzing and then everything goes off and the charger is still putting out power is there a short somewhere? if so where is it likely?

I doubt your charger is meant to start the tractor all by itself. They are designed to be a boost only. Try putting in a good battery.

Could be lots of things:

Start Solinoid, voltage regulator, point. . . Where is the sound comming from? Dash? ENgine? Dead Battery?

Buzzing from the engine, no distributer, has magneto. . . Well. . .

Does the buzz occure when you try to use the starter?
