I have a 450 farmall that has a non original set of fenders on it. The fenders are something that I have never seen before. They are kind of a clam shell fender with a place to mount a light and a elcetric plug on one of the fenders. They appear to be a off a utility / standard type tracotr, but I do not know for sure. Any idea? If anyone is willing to help, I will email a pic to you.

Thank You
Larry

Sounds like fenders off of a 460 or 560 Farmall. They will bolt on just like the 450 or M fenders. If they are 706 fenders they will have 3 sides to the bottom and held on with a large U-bolt. The 706 axles have 6 sides to them. Hope this helps.

P.S. None of the 450's had "Clam Shell" fenders. These didn't appear until the 460 and 560's. But they do look good on the 450's.

Didn't the 60s or 06s use clamshell fenders? Friend bought a pair thinking they would fit his SM. They are definitely IH. Gave him a pair of fenders I had laying around.

could be oliver fenders. My dad's 400 has Oliver fenders. The fenders have three holes for mounting but only two holes are used to attach the fenders to the axel housing
