I would like to add a 3 point hitch to my 1947 M. If you have input as to suppliers and who you think makes the best product, I would appreciate hearing from you.

put one on a MD works great but as some one else pointed out it won't go low enough . found an old broken drawbar (right down the center) over laped the pieces ,welded together ,bolted it to the saginaw at the angle iron at the bottom of hitch and used the original adjustment rods to support it .now still have drawbar and full range of the 3 point.

Just a crazy question, what do you do for a drawbar and how does it work out? I have seen pictures of the Saginaw 3 pt and origional drawbar, how do they work together, I mean, do they take away from each other and get in each others way or do they work good together??

John, I still have the original drawbar on my H, as well as the Saginaw hitch. The only problem I've had is sometimes I can't get my 3 pt. mounted blade low enough, like backing up to a ditch and trying to clean out a spot. That is the only complaint I've ever had, and that is very minor.

I put a Saginaw hitch on my H. I think it is better than any OEM hitch I have seen. My2c

Check out Saginaw County Tractor. They are probably the best 3 pt. builder around. I've got one on my H.
