I bought 11 arosol cans if 2150 red for my 510 drill and spent almost around $60 for the paint. I was told that the Iron Gaurd is not as good as the paint that you have mixed at paint dealer's and was also told that it fades. I just tried some of it on a press wheel and it has that same awful smell as that paint the Country General sold BPS brand. And I remember it fading quickly also. Who makes Iron Guard? Could it be BPS? Did I throw my $$ away on this paint? Thanks guys for any information. R Wyler

Painted my whole H with 2150 rattle cans. Expensive ..yes. I'm not set up for Gun spraying. Had real good results and would highly recommend the paint!. I did find however that I needed a respirator as the fumes are not good for you in an enclosed space. Good Luck, Mike

Thanks that is good to hear. I am going to likely paint the entire drill with arosol. I think it will look great.

You did not throw your money away, the 2150 is a MUCH HIGHER quality paint than what you can buy at the local farm or hardware store. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Well thank you I am very happy to hear that. I feel better now. It must be made to higher standard's than what is sold at farm and hardware stores.

Some people use Case-IH aerosol paint to paint whole tractors and are satisfied with the results. In general, the aerosol paint will not be as high quality as the premixed in cans, which in turn is not as good as custom mixed acrylic enamel, which is not as good as acrylic enamel with hardener, which is not as good as acrylic urethane, etc, etc. You've already bought it, go ahead and use it.

Yes I already bought it so I am going to use. Hopefully it is the best I can get for arosol anyhow.

I repainted my 656 with it 2 years ago. It is a working tractor and don't notice any fading yet.
