Am curious as to the exact implements made by IH the same time a 1944 Farmall H was made. If adding to my collection, I would like to keep all implements from the same time period. Can anyone give me a list of the implements available for use by that tractor and what those might cost now?

Also, I would prefer not to add a 3 point hitch, since it was not standard on the H's at that time. Since that is the case, is it adviseable to use a pull behind shredder mower made by IH?

Thanks

Justin, I have a six foot wide pull behind cultivator mounted on rubber that I acquired with my H. International Harvester made 6,8, and 10' pull type cultivators in that era. I have an 8' that my dad bought when he bought the M..the 10's were usually for W6 and W9's. These are easy to dismantle for painting and easy to reassemble, all pins and split pins..and takes about an hour to take one completely apart for cleaning and painting..I-H red andI-H blue with I-H cream wheels

Thanks for the responses.

In particular, I am looking for a pull behind mower that could be used with the H. Have about 6 full acres that need to be mowed. I would also like to find out about the 2 bottom plow, cost, etc. I am basically just interested in that for now, but could possibly be interested in a cultivator later on.

I am also curious to know about how to replace the front plate (?) where the implements can attach in the front of the tractor. This plate is broken in half and only one bolt hole is in its entirety. I think the whole front end of the tractor might have to be taken off?

Thanks

Drop me an email, I have (2) four row mounted planters and a front mounted 2 row cultivator that all came off of an H. Maybe close enough to work out some kind of deal. HB

Justin: You could start with a Little Genius 2x14 trailer plow, almost every H had one. The 9A and 10A disks were quite common. Spring tooth and peg tooth harrows were on almost every H farm. A good mower will be 25 or 25V

The list could go on and on, what type of equipment are you looking for beyond what I've mentioned?

kind'o depends what you need. Everything from damming listers to cotton pickers. how about a mounted cultivator or planter? Maybe a mowing machine? IH even sold a nifty dirt scoop that mounted under the tractor,
