Ih 240 grinds update

i split my tractor apart for 3rd time cause gears still grind brought clutch, pressure, flywheel to ih expert; he says clutch facing was a little too wide in diameter, and to grind edge off to steel. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I agree, you shouldn't have to be grinding on a brand new clutch. Where did you get it? Definetly sounds like you found the problem, though.

dean: I think I would be taking that clutch back to from where it came. That is rediculous, making modifications to new parts.
