Hi,
I have a Farmall C.I just rewired it to the
12 volt step-by step converstion on this site
did everything it said to the book still will
not spin the starter. So I took it to a very
will known starter shop in town they redid
the whole thing.Still will not spin.Put a
new on-off switch on pull type.Starter
throws sparks like a welder.I took it back
to the shop they hooked it up to their tester
worker fine.

Thanks All.

When they redid your started, was a new button put on the outside of the starter. That is the copper button that the pull switch contacts. It's under the pull switch. Those buttons get worn and then you don't get good contact. That is what happened to my C. The shop put on a new button and it's been ready to go since.
