IH hammer mill information

I just perchased an old International McCormick hammer mill and was wondering if anyone could tell me what year or models IH made. This type I have also has a bagging hopper that ia mounted on the side. Thanks for any help. Also thanks for the brake band tips, GUYS.

Haas just looked at your message my hammer mill is a model No. 6 . That is the only numbers i can find at the moment I'll keep looking. Thanks for the help . I really don't have a use for it so i may have to grind JD tractors up with it. That would be a laugh|

A no. 6 HM was one of the manuals that I sold. You Hammermill is likely from the late 30s or the 1940s, as all the manuals I had were from that era. Found another manual, it is for a No. 5, dated 8/28/39.

Do you know the model number of the hammermill?? Probably a name plate on it some place. I had several manuals for IH hammermills, but have sold most of them. I still have a manual for a No. 10 C hammermill. It's dated 1-22-40.
