I have a 1955 300 and the TA is out on the low side. I priced a normal one versus a sprag type. There was about a two hundred dollar difference in the two, is it really worth it to go with the heavy sprag type? It is not going to be in tractor pulls, just doing general farm work, mostly light work. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help. I found the info form Hy-Cap. Their heavy duty is about $714.00. I don"t have a belt pulley on my tractor, will this make a difference in ordering? Thanks.

No , it just means that it will work WITH a belt pulley and if ya don't have it it is fine.

A long time ago a man told me that it only cost a buck more to go first class and yes the sprag less one is much better. The best on the after market is the Hy Capacity T/A's . When i was first setting up shop i did a lot of resurch on everybodys Clutchs and T/A's and what i came up with is that Hy Cap realy stood behind the product with a strong warranty and IF i Every had a problem with ANY of there stuff they would PAY ME my labor to replace it all the rest would just replace and in the 19 years that i sold there product i never had a come back.

Many Case-IH, JD, and AGCO dealers carry Hy-Capacity. Check Hy-Capacity's web site, they might have a dealer locater.
