I can"t find any definite information about a farmall MV tractor that is factory LP. How many were made and what is one worth that has been sitting outside for a few years.

I am to understand that the farmall 300, 400 was the first factory LP tractor to be produced at the factory. All of the M's, super M's, MTa"s, H's, Etc. were converted at the dealer or were aftermarket conversions. If the tank sets sideways on the tractor with the steering colum it was most likly an aftermarket. Most of the dealer installed tanks were inline with the steering colum and were made by Western steel tank Corp and they had Ensin carbs and ensin vaporizers on them.

i bet the inside of the engine is fairly clean! plus you get a little extra snort if its set up right. i would just be happy its a high crop. but in somes people eyes the lp is not orignal and the fuel is a "pro pain" in the @ss to keep tuned in. well thats what my uncle would always say. but if i was you and you wanted to run it just for your self and your happy with it, just enjoy it the way it is. i think field conversions need to be reconized just like the rest of them.

No Factory LPG until the Super Series. 1674 MV's produced, 509 MDV's. Should be worth more than the average $1500 M, but not unless it runs. I won't guess how much, diesels are worth more.
