IH 2 point plow identification

i have a 2 point 2 bottom mold board plow i would like to identify . it has a big coil spring on top . ia aparently adjustable to 14 or 16 inches . it has the narrow prongs . it is much heavier built than most 2 bottom plows .the man i bought it from said it came with a super c he bougt . i have the mccormick parts book FCI-1A farm implemenys for use with farmall c and super-c tractors nd it is not shown

thanks for all the help . now i know what i have . anybody know where i can get a parts list ? bob that mower you have should be a C-24-P.

Bill, if I see you Saturday, I'll show you a C-20. Got a couple around the place....One with slat moldboards and Plow Chief points and the the other with Super Chief points...Shrps74

Sounds like a C-20 plow.I think you can go from 12" to 16" width( with the correct width bottoms, of course).Don`t think there`s too many Super C`s capable of pulling 2-16`s though. They were made for the Super C with the fast hitch and have the big spring on top as you describe. You need the parts book for Fast Hitch Implements for use with Super C with Fast Hitch (FCI-2). Parts book for Implements used with Farmall 200 & 230 w/FH will have it too.

i have a picture but can't get into implement images or help identify to post. i did a google search for C-20 plow and found a picture at chaselinks.com/super_C.html . looks just like mine near as i can tell . did they make others similar . would like parts list but can't find .

Bill, there`s really not another small prong plow that looks like it except for the C-10 which has the same spring ,but it`s only a one bottom.

bil b va, like Larry said, we need a picture of the plow as there were several different models with a big spring. The later plow for the 230 was a little different than the earlier Super C plow. I am not aware of them being adjustable.
