Friend of mine was prowling a tractor salvage yard for parts for his JD combine. Had taken serial number, so"s he could try to find similar unit. Imagine his suprise when he found a consecutive number on a salvage unit, supposedly brought in from Iowa!

1941 M 39360, and 39361. Had 39360 for years, Dad bought it in like 75, 39361 was bought in 93 from a local guy. I didnt even think to look at the numbers for a couple of months, then imagine my surprise.

I have two C's that are 51576 and 51578. I bought them 2 1/2 years apart from two different farmers. If I could find the one in between then that woudl be very special.
