Were farmall Super M's the one's with wide front end?
Or,, Could all M's be ordered like that, As I dont see too many around,
And I like them alot better than row crop,
Seen a few, but not that many,

A wide front M IS a row crop.

The main issue with the early wide front (tie rods & linkage out front) was the inability to turn sharply. Later 400 / 450 style had the linkage behind like all other modern wide fronts and will bolt up to an M and SM without much hassle. Used Wide fronts can command a pretty penny an an auction and unless you want an IH piece a Swartz is a great alternative, resonably priced and available brand new.

Both the M and Super M could be ordered with a wide front at extra cost. Further aftermarket wide fronts (Schwartz, etc) are frequently retrofitted to NF Farmalls.

I agree a WF Farmall H/M looks sharp. And a WF rides easier too. But a WF sacrifices manueverability over an NF tractor.
