It seems that I have some a problem with my hydraulics. I raised the bucket to drive my tractor off of a trailer and now the loader will not go down. In fact it will not go up or down. the lever moves freely. I hope this is not serious. Any idea what could have happened and how I would go about fixing it? I woudl appreciate your help.

When you pull the lever, do you notice any load on the engine? If not, I would say your lever broke off or the shaft sheared or twisted off inside. If you notice a load, either you have couplers on it that don't match or are plugged/defective, or some valve in the system is stuck.

Did a hose become disconnected? I'm not making fun, I've seen it happen.

Do you have the Liftall control lever (on the right side of the hyd reservoir) pulled all the way back and latched?

Hi Bob,

I'm not sure what you mean, but I do have the lever pulled all the way back and over that little bump in the rod.

It maybe that the screw - bolt may have come loose and the linkage is just slipen or ya may have to go inside the unit and do sopme repairs . Hard to say with out being there. If ya have pioneer couplers ya may have one or two of them go bad ya may also be air locked as the breather may have gotten pluged.
