I have a 1066 built in 1973 and the Harmonic Balancer that goes on the end of the crankshaft is out. Is there anyone out there who knows where I might locate one? I did find one new at an IHC dealer and they want 326.00 for it, seems a bit high but maybe not? Thanks D.K.

You must not buy many parts these days. $326 for a balancer sounds pretty reasonable compared to some parts these days. Just bought a seal kit for the lift cylinder on my 510 loader on my Maxxum. $145 and all thats in it is a few orings and a seal! As the others have said spend a little now or a lot later!

like Allen said BUY A NEW ONE or buy a crank maybe a block couple rods . Also here is a tid bit when ya get the new one take a center punch and put a mark on the outer ring and one stright across on the inner ring and every once in a while make sure that they are in line when they start to move then remove and replace.

Maybe not.

You already have a used one.

Wait til you have to buy that $1K crank and 326 won't seem too terribly bad. :>)
