Well, I am learning what an H will do and will not do.

1. It will pull a box scrape to keep my gravel drive decent.

2. The PTO WILL NOT turn fast enough to operate a rotor tiller on the rear of the tractor. 1st gear and wide open...no soap...need to think about another tractor to do this.

3. I was wondering...will the PTO rotate fast enough to operate a bush hog?

I wrapped a chain from axle housings down to support drawbar and then pulled 2200 gallon manure tank with H. Pulled into field than backed up 5 ft. put pto in gear and got moving again in 5 ft. tracks 1st. gear. The first 500 gallons were iffy but she always managed to complete the task. I got way more performance out of that 52 H then they were built for. Really liked that little tractor.

Roto tillers are very hard on PTO's. What size roto tiller?
I use my Super H with a 2-14 plow, an 8 ft tamdem disk with a 9ft cultipacker. It handles these very well in third gear. These were work horses in corn country in the 50's.

Well... here is what I use my H's for:
PTO:
7 foot sickle bar mower
9 foot sickle bar mower
8" 61' long PTO drive auger
New Holland 352 mixer mill
feeder wagon
pull:
misc. equipment
creep feeders
10' double-disc
9 wheel rake
IH 100 manure spreader
10' grader blade (can't move much dirt, though)

There hasn't been much I've thrown at them that they couldn't handle. Sometimes a little slower than other tractors, but still get the job done. Kinda handy to have around for those little odd jobs and saves starting the big diesels.

Will an H pull a 2-14 plow easliy? How about a 8' single disc?

Yes a H will pull a 2 bottom plow fairly easy. In most cases it will also pull 8 ft disk depending on what kind, size of disk and weight of over all Disk. I am not sure what you are calling a single disk, but if it is a single disk it will fly with it.

...The Farmall H was made to pull 2-14"IHC drag plow and a 7' IHC drag disk....the disk has 7 blades in each of 4 sections.....lift the disk rope and pull forward and drop the setting in the 4th or 5th notch.....the h should pull the disk in 3rd or 4th gear..... .

It is not the PTO speed the ground speed is to fast on a H. It will run a bush hog just fine.

My H with a Saginaw 3pt is the best brush hogging tractor I've ever owned.

Before I had the 3 point, I mowed with a trail type, and it even did great then.

I learned how to drive tractor on my Dad's Farmall H and we still have it!!! Growing up farming in the Salinas Valley in the 50's and 60's H's were pretty common and popular. Here they were used as row crop tractors, bed shaping, rolling beds, close cultivation and planting. Usually over two 40" beds for a total ground cover of 80". They weren't used here for anything heavier. Brother M and famous cousin Super M were often converted (expanded) to cover four 40" beds for total ground cover of 160" and they handled the extra ground easily for the same tasks. The M's commonly were used for listing up 40" beds and they pulled five big bottoms in fourth gear on light ground. The M's are hard to come by anymore however there are still a lot of H's having been relegated to pulling pipe (irrigation) trailers and weed sprayers. Those M's were very much admired around here for their power and the old timers still speak fondly of them...H's too!
