Neighbor has acquired a super M. He says it runs good although I have not heard it run. Says hydrolic pump is bad and he is replacing it. Says he wants $2,000.00????? Can anyone give me a feeling as to what this thing is worth. All the sheet metal is there and compared to what I have restored in the past, it is very good condition from external appearance.

I bought what a guy told me was a super M, turned out it was actually a SMTA. Had lots of problems but did have aftermarket 3 point and good hydraulic. Since I only paid $100 for it I came out great. You might want to check that this is a Super and not an M with super decals, don't know if it makes much difference on value.

It just depends on the tractor there is a lot of work to rebuild one right a running M in fair condition $800 up to a stage 2 SM with everything new or rebuilt $5000 with a SMTA even more

I think you could find cheaper in Wisco. You never know unless you see it and hear it though...

That's ok, perhaps a little cheap for a Stage 2, for a Stage 1 it's a couple of hundred too high -- I bet he hasn't priced a pump lately.

If the sheetmetal is in good condition and there are no parts missing, along with good tires... the price sounds fair. For poor tires, deduct at least $500 for new ones!

Two 13.6-38, two 6-16 fronts, all 6 ply, all Firestone plus tubes are on order, over $1000. I could get Chinese ones for a couple of hundred less.

From your description it sounds like a fair price from my part of Ohio
