Hey guys I need some fasteners for the hoods on my 350. I can get some bolts but those square inserts that you bolt to I can not find down here. Please let me know where I can get some. Also I am finishing up some wiring on that B and she will be ready to sell if anyone is interested. email me if interested and I can send pictures or info.
Thanks Travis.

I must not read very well, I thought you were looking for bolts. I got some of the fastener nuts at IH dealor about 8 or 9 months ago. I dont remember what they cost but they were high.

There is about a dozen on ebay now up to 39.99 kinda high. My 2006 catalog from OEM shows new ones for 50 cents a piece. I would go with new ones most used ones will be have rounded off heads.

I think OEM tractor parts here in IL should have your Hood Fasteners. Later Shaggy

We got some of those from Case-I.H. last summer, they were pricey though.

I don't think they are available anywhere. They were captive square nuts with no real chance of staying operational unless taken off and lubed with antisieze once a year (usually not done). Choices might include tack brazing nuts to the attachment points, Using small handles brazed to nuts to get them into position, or making new holders. Good luck, ours has nuts painfully held in place to assemble. JimN
