if you dont know that the "d" after 361 means diesel then maybe you better leave this to some one with the proper knowledge

Find a 715 IH gas combine with the 301.They are everywhere in our area.I myself have a 1975 715 IH gas parts combine with a good 301 which I would like to put in a 460-560 gas with a bad motor if I could find one.

Just yesterday I was at the dealer and asked him if the 806D block would work in a 560 and he said yes. Don't know about apperances. Maybe find an 806 or a good pic and see if their are any.

the 301 from a 806 gas will fit[ i put one in a 460] a 361 diesel will not fit in a 560

I think that a 806 motor would tear up a 560 drive train real fast.
