A little while ago someone posted about the cost of JD quick couplers for backhoe hydraulic lines. I priced some out for my Cat. $65 for the male end and $263 for the female socket! Ouch! Dave

You know , you don't have to buy Caterpillar Q.D.'s...Many manufacturers make quick couplers..Pioneer , Parker , Aero Quip , to mention a few ..All you have to have is pressure rating and size for flow...If you look around , even on E-Bay there are many available..

One place said to take a sample in. They said the female end is cheaper than the male Cat end. One I looked at was Safeway. I'll check out some other suppliers. Cat is rediculous for a lot of their parts. dave
