My uncle is looking at purchasing an American 595 C dragline with a 4-71 or 4-53 detroit. What we need to know is if the center pin has an adjustment on it or not? The problem is that this machine has air operated components and it tends to blow a couple air lines a year. We believe the pin or bushing is either wore out or out of adjustment. I am under the understanding that it might have a tapered bushing and you might be able to tighten things to compensate for the wear. Please respond if you have any information at all about the machine. Thanks!!

Does anybody have any idea what this machine is worth? The engine may be stuck but we are unsure yet. Also it has a bad air line and wont move right now. Any ideas to value?

Americans have a center pin w/brass bushing as well as house rollers (fixed) and hook rollers (cam adjustable) dont think wear in these parts is related to blowing air lines...Don
