I"VE GOT A FORD 655A BACKHOE AND THE TRANSMISSION IS SLOW TAKING GEAR,I CAN JACK ONE WHEEL UP AND PUT IT IN GEAR AND THE TIRE WILL TURN SLOW,AFTER ABOUT A MINUTE OF THIS IT WILL FINALLY TAKE GEAR AND WORK FINE.IT DOESN"T SLIP OR ANYTHING WHILE LOADING OR PUSHING.I HAVE CHANGED OIL,FILTER,AND DUMP VALVE ON THE SIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION.I HAVE ALSO CHECKED THE MAIN PUMP PRESSURE AND IT IS GOOD.ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED,THANKS

our 555b is the same way, once the torque converter gets hot it works fine, i think its got clutch packs or something that need replaced/rebuilt.
