I am rebuilding my final. I pulled her in the barn when it was a bit warmer. I cannot get her to kick. The temp is around 5', But I have never had a problem in the cold W/ starting fluid. I checked the fuel lines and fuel is flowing good. My start button is not working now?, I am jumping the starter to get her to kick. The motor will start on fluid but will not run. Will a faulty key switch cause this? Or push button?

Went through my straight 350 last fall, incl. new ignition switch. Sometimes works, sometimes...nothing. Reach behind the dash, wiggle wires--sometimes works, sometimes nothing. Come back five minutes later and it starts fine. Got to be a bad connection somewhere. When it quits completely I'll re-wire the whole thing, can't be too expensive.

As I said in the other post, the main harness plug often comes loose in the 350 series. It's just under the hood by the end that's by the dashboard.

Maybe the main wire-harness connector under you hood has a bad connection. If it's loose, the injection pump won't get power (and it won't start) and your push-button for the starter motor won't work either.
