I had my steering unit out and had the valves and seats replaced in it and adjusted. Now it jerks when turning one way. We took it out an adjusted it again and it's still not right. Does someone have a machine to check the adjustment before putting it back in the machine and trying it? How do the rebuilders do it and where are any located that rebuild these?

Was the person that rebuilt it familiar with those steering valves??? Also , what did he adjust the valve clearnce to??? If it didnt act like that before , sounds like it was reassembled wrong or the adjustment is off...They are very tricky to adjust. I usually make the valve clearances a little over what is suggested in the manual. It makes the steering a little more forgiving when travelling over rough terrain...
